AI Evaluation
Also known as evals
AI evaluation is the systematic testing of a model or an AI system against tasks with known answers, to measure how well it performs and where it fails.
Why It Matters
Without evaluation a deployment is a guess. It is how companies compare suppliers, decide whether a model upgrade is worth the cost, and detect regressions before customers do.
